» Your responsibilities:

You actively shape our platform architecture by helping us to further improve the development and operation of our cloud-native technology stack based on AWS, Azure and Kubernetes, among others

You will help decouple microservices in Java using Apache Kafka
You support databases from PostgreSQL and MongoDB to Redis and Oracle
You enable traceability and visibility using ELK stack, Prometheus, Thanos, Grafana and Jaeger
You automate workflows using pipelines in Gitlab and Tekton
You set up networks between containers using Cilium
You orchestrate containers using Kubernetes
You isolate applications using Docker and containerd
You run infrastructure in AWS and Azure
You use Linux and Windows as operating systems
You work your way into many other things and write code in Python, Golang and Java
Don’t worry, you don’t need to be an expert in all of this. We encourage mutual learning and greatly appreciate different knowledge.

» Your key skills:

You have experience as a cloud, software or systems engineer and in the automation of (cloud) infrastructure with Kubernetes
You have interest in developing internal tooling (e.g. Kubernetes operators) and in the topics of monitoring and observability
You have strong initiative and critical thinking skills
You enjoy innovation and constant learning
German language skills are an advantage, but not a must
